Guy Fawkes Extravaganza
Friday 5th November
Save The Date Magazine & Shottle Hall are holding a Guy Fawkes Extravaganza on Friday 5th November.  The event will be the perfect bonfire night celebration with delicious food from Jack Rabbits, fireworks, a huge bonfire and a shopping area…I’ll be there!  Hope to see you there too!  Click here for full information.

The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby
The second fabulousplaces.co.uk Christmas Market is taking place at the stunning Roundhouse on Pride Park.  With over 70 food and gift stalls offering everything you need for the festive season!  Jack Rabbits will be offering delicious food in The Engine Shed Restaurant and Polly’s List are offering little ones the opportunity to take part in lots of festive activities.  An event not to be missed!  Click here for full information.

I am over the moon with how the fabulousplaces.co.uk Summer Fete went last Sunday at Shottle Hall, what a truly wonderful day and…it didn’t rain!!

A huge thank you to all the fabulous shops and producers who kindly gave up their Sunday to sell their lovely wares…there was an array of tempting goodies of offer including locally made ice cream, farm produce, delicious cupcakes, crafts and cards.  Thank you to everyone who joined us, I hope you enjoyed the day!

The idea behind the events I run through fabulousplaces.co.uk is to offer you an opportunity to enjoy local, independent crafts and produce.  I couldn’t have imagined it to be in a more appropriate setting…Shottle Hall is a stunning venue and I hope you all had a good look around and enjoyed the setting.  I’m sure you’ll agree the grounds are beautiful and the picturesque views made the Summer Fete a truly wonderful event to wonder around.  With over 4,500 visitors throughout the day I really can’t wait for the next event!

A huge thank you to Carol and her team from Polly’s List for the fabulous Polly’s Corner.  The games, bouncy castles, face painting and stalls were full of nostalgia and put a smile on so many little faces!

If you love fabulousplaces.co.uk then you’ll absolutely love the Summer Fete!

This will be the second Summer Fete I’ve run through fabulousplaces.co.uk and I’m really looking forward to this one!  The Fete will be held at Shottle Hall where there’ll be lots of fabulous things going on inside and outside; gifts, local food, farmers market and a lots to keep the little ones busy!

What can I say! The evening was a huge success and I’m now enjoying some much needed rest. Well, I’m sat on the sofa with a cup of tea and biscuits with the laptop typing this blog, that will do for now!

Thanks so much to everyone who came along to the Showcase – guests travelled from all over Derbyshire, Sheffield and Nottingham! I hope you had a fabulous time and enjoyed the opportunity to browse so many fabulous products in one place. I hope you all liked your goody bags too! You’ll find some really great goodies in there… a Teapigs sample, Weleda products, a packet of Crips, a Dorset Cereals bar and flyers/offers from some of the fabulous places featured on the website.
