Thank you to everyone who visited and exhibited at the fabulousplaces.co.uk Christmas Market!  The event was a huge success, the venue was stunning and the stalls offered superb quality gifts and delicious food.

A special thank you to Polly’s List for the super childrens fun corner, the Jack Rabbits team for offering delicious food in the Engine Shed Restaurant and also Helen and wonderful from the Roundhouse.

The next fabulousplaces.co.uk event is just around the corner…the Christmas Market will be the perfect opportunity to browse over 70 festive food & gift stalls, visit the Polly’s List Christmas activity corner with little ones and enjoy a delicious bite to eat at the Jack Rabbits Kitchen!

The Christmas Market will bring something unique to Derby and I’m delighted to be hosting the event at the stunning Roundhouse.  Entry is £1 (supporting Marie Curie) and includes a free fabulousplaces.co.uk event guide.

I am over the moon with how the fabulousplaces.co.uk Summer Fete went last Sunday at Shottle Hall, what a truly wonderful day and…it didn’t rain!!

A huge thank you to all the fabulous shops and producers who kindly gave up their Sunday to sell their lovely wares…there was an array of tempting goodies of offer including locally made ice cream, farm produce, delicious cupcakes, crafts and cards.  Thank you to everyone who joined us, I hope you enjoyed the day!

The idea behind the events I run through fabulousplaces.co.uk is to offer you an opportunity to enjoy local, independent crafts and produce.  I couldn’t have imagined it to be in a more appropriate setting…Shottle Hall is a stunning venue and I hope you all had a good look around and enjoyed the setting.  I’m sure you’ll agree the grounds are beautiful and the picturesque views made the Summer Fete a truly wonderful event to wonder around.  With over 4,500 visitors throughout the day I really can’t wait for the next event!

A huge thank you to Carol and her team from Polly’s List for the fabulous Polly’s Corner.  The games, bouncy castles, face painting and stalls were full of nostalgia and put a smile on so many little faces!

This will be the second Summer Fete I’ve run through fabulousplaces.co.uk and I’m really looking forward to this one!  The Fete will be held at Shottle Hall where there’ll be lots of fabulous things going on inside and outside; gifts, local food, farmers market and a lots to keep the little ones busy!

I jumped at the chance of producing a Christmas guide in Polly’s List.  Polly’s List, created by the lovely Carol Dixon, is the first directory for mums of primary ages little ones in the Derby area.  The publication is an invaluable handbag sized guide covering everything from after school and childcare to days out and parties.  Polly’s List also includes fabulous features on shopping, beauty and health and wellbeing.  As soon as I had browsed the first edition, I knew I had to be involved!
