Fabulous Places to visit in Derbyshire and nearby

An afternoon at Bluebells

The weather today has been amazing and I made the right decision to head to Bluebells to meet a friend.  With the sun comes ice cream and at Bluebells they have amazing ice cream all made on the farm.  I’m sure many of you reading this have tried Bluebells ice cream, whether it was on the farm or at a Fabulous Places event.  I’m not sure what my preferred flavour is…chocolate  is amazing, strawberry is delicious, but then the lemon meringue hits the spot, but then I tried mint choc chip, hmmm.

Bluebells isn’t just about ice cream, it’s a working farm and the Brown Family are passionate about making their home a place for families to visit and enjoy.  There’s a farm shop, cafe, outdoor play area and an area where you can feed the animals…pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, the list goes on.  It’s a great way to introduce little ones to a farm environment.

The weather looks great for tomorrow…get yourself to Bluebells!

Here are some photos from our day…
