blog1
I’m super pleased to be able to announce that the next event for the website has been confirmed!  The Christmas Market will be held on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd November 2009 at Blackbrook House near Belper.  I am delighted to be holding another event at this stunning venue and even more happy to be running the event over two days.

As always, the events are a perfect opportunity to see lots of the places and producers from the fabulousplaces.co.uk website in one place!  From Christmas wreaths and gifts to mince pies and home accessories…there will be something fabulous for all the family and some great extras..face painting, craft corner for the little ones and an outdoor German style market.

Full information will be on the website soon, but please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions in the meantime.

something for the weekend: melbourne & wirksworth festivals

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

This weekend I’ll be heading to both the Wirksworth & Melbourne Festivals – they both have their artist trails on this weekend, which is an ideal opportunity to head to the towns and have a walk round and enjoy!  I’m normally on holiday at this time of year, so have missed out visiting these events previously, but this year they’re in the diary and I’m going to both!  Here’s some information about the Festivals to help you decide which to visit, or like me, visit both!

Melbourne Festival – 4-20 September

The fifth Melbourne Festival will take place from the 4th to the 20thof September, with the Art and Architecture Trail Weekend taking place over the middle weekend, the 12th and 13th September. You’ll be able to say hello to some of the places and producers from the website including Bluebells Dairy & Quirky Cookies & Cakes.  The Festival is broadly the same as previous years combining the best features from previous years with some exciting new additions to keep the Festival fresh. The weekend will be a perfect opportunity to visit Melbourne and browse art and enjoy some great food.  For full information click here to visit the official website for the Festival.
